A suit is a set of garments made from cloth, it includes at least a jacket and a trousers. Lounge suits is the most basic style in men’s suiting, it was started by British people, they wore as their country wears, after that people started wearing in for official purposes. It also known as business suit, it is very sober in color and style. There are many other styles which are being worn for official occasions. Dinner suits have replaced lounge suits; tie is an additional part in these suits. It has become the most liked alternative for lounge suits and replaced is very quickly just like the morning coats and frock coats were replaced by day lounge suits. These coats have stopped being worn very rapidly.
There are lots of variations in styles of formal dresses, they are different in cuts, cloth, some are of two pieces and some are available in three piece suits, every design and style can be wear for different occasions. The tradition style of these suits is a collared shirt and a tie with dress pants. In 1960 people were used to wear hat with them and it was a common thing. Three piece suits men wearing a coat as well as waistcoat with shirt and pants but two piece suits include only coat with other two things, this style didn’t have a waist coat.
In past tailor used to stitch these suits and the clients were used to select everything by themselves such as cloth, designs, and buttons and every cut and small detail. These suits were known as bespoke suits. Their measurement was according to the size of the clients. Things have change in dressing as well. People are now being wore readymade suits mostly, they are available in different sizes and if anyone wants a little bit change in any suit they can get it altered. There are four ways in which these suits are being sold. Bespoke suits are being readied entirely with the choice of customers and being stitched by tailors by taking measurements and fabric chosen by client.
Then there is made to measure which are of pre made pattern and gets modified in measures according to the size and fittings of customer. There will be limited choices of fabric and client will have to chose from them only.
Ready to wear is the most common way of people buying dresses, because it save their time. There are millions of shops of man wear who are selling these suits.
One can also choose shirts and pants and coats separately, and match them according to their need. Shops are stitching suits in measuring such as small, large, and extra large that way there doesn’t remain any need for too much alteration. A little bit of change in size can work.
